Over the course of a couple of years, details and hidden messages of playfulness continued to reveal themselves. It feels like portals inside portals, with imaginative trees rising from the earth and the bluest sky peeking through a landscape that feels almost otherworldly.

This piece was inspired by the idea that nature offers miracles constantly — both in what we clearly see and in what we almost miss. After my stroke, I began noticing glimmers everywhere. Subtle magic. Tiny connections. Patterns and light that felt like reminders that wonder is always present if we pause long enough to notice.
