Sacred Circles:
Watercolor, Acrylic Inks & Soul Renewal Retreat
A quiet gathering on one of the most unspoiled lakes in North Carolina, where forest meets water along the edge of the Nantahala National Forest.
Held on the quiet, blue-green waters of Lake Santeetlah in the mountains of North Carolina, Sacred Circles is a multi-day immersive retreat designed to gently slow the pace of life and return you to a more present, creative way of being.
Surrounded by forest, water, and expansive mountain sky, this experience offers a soft landing away from daily demands and into a rhythm guided by nature, creativity, and presence. Through watercolor and ink painting, intuitive making, and shared circle gatherings, we explore what happens when we create without pressure, when process matters more than outcome, and when curiosity replaces expectation.
September 23-27, 2026
Each day we will begin with a gentle grounding practice, a soft invitation to settle into your body, quiet your mind, and open your creative voice. From there, we’ll let our imagination take the lead. Together, we’ll explore intuitive watercolor & acrylic inks, journaling, and daily creations, discovering how your own intentions and reflections can emerge through color and mark-making. Sticks, feathers, and found objects will become tools for discovery, helping you engage fully with process and play, while still leaving room for quiet reflection.
This retreat also weaves in my intuitive art journaling process…writing, noticing, layering, concealing, and responding through simple materials. A practice of slowing down, trusting what emerges, and allowing the page to become a reflection of your inner landscape.
Every art-making session is designed to honor curiosity over perfection, intuition over expectation, and the beauty of process as much as product.
