Glimmers of Light was created on a day when everything seemed to glow.
It felt like a glimpse into a peaceful meadow, sunlight bathing the earth in a warm, golden hush. A touch of strawberry-moon pink softened the sky, and the air carried that unmistakable fullness of the first day of summer — the longest day of the year, brimming with light.
The flowers in the garden were beginning to stretch upward. I found a small fallen nest resting on the ground. Even the simplest things felt illuminated. The glimmers I noticed — in the sky, in the grass, all around — felt as though they were gently lifting my worries and carrying them into the clouds.
This piece became a quiet lesson in simplicity. In going slowly. In allowing what is blooming to simply be. It captures that suspended, sacred feeling of the summer solstice — when warmth, light, and renewal are not rushing, only glowing.
